The IISER Academic Programme Preferences must be given in the Application Portal.

Important Information Related to Filling up of IISER Academic Programme Preference Form:
Duration: 5:00 PM, June 26, 2025 - 5:00 PM, July 03, 2025
Candidate can login with the User ID and Password to access the Application Form. The User ID (Registration/Application Number) and Password were sent to the registered email ID and phone number during the registration process of IAT 2025.
This online Application (Preference) Form allows the candidates to choose from 11 academic programmes across 7 IISERs from the drop-down menu. For 5-year BS-MS (Dual Degree) programs at all IISERs Mathematics in class XII (or equivalent) is not mandatory. For admissions to the following programs, candidates MUST HAVE MATHEMATICS during their Class XII (or equivalent): 5-year BS-MS in Computational and Data Sciences at IISER Kolkata, 4-year B. Tech. at IISER Bhopal, 4-year BS in Economic Sciences at IISER Bhopal and 4-year BS in Economic and Statistical Sciences at IISER Tirupati.
Candidate is required to make a preference list from among these programs for which the candidate wants to be considered for admission.
The preference order must be from the most preferred (first preference) to the least preferred.
Candidate must provide a minimum of 1 preference and may fill in a maximum of 11 preferences to complete this form.
Candidate will be considered ONLY to those IISER academic programmes which are in the candidate's preference list. Consequently, the candidate will not be considered for admission to an IISER academic programme that is not mentioned in the candidate's preference list.
Please fill up the form with utmost care, applying due diligence as candidate will not be allowed to change the preference(s) after 5 PM on July 03, 2025.
If a candidate is offered a seat in an IISER academic programme based on the candidate's rank and preference(s), a Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) is required to be paid. The SAF is to be paid only after an offer of admission has been made to the candidate. The SAF will have to be paid as per the category mentioned in the offer letter. No SAF or any other fee has to be paid during submission of the Preference form.
No other information including the category information (General, GEN-EWS, OBC, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, KM) can be changed in the Application Portal.
Candidates are not entitled to receive any intimation/information regarding mistakes made by the candidates in the Preference Form or any missing information.
The Joint Admissions Committee shall not entertain any request for modification of the information after 5:00 PM on July 03, 2025.
Any information and/or document(s) sent by email or any other means will not be considered.

Important Information Related to Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF):
Rs. 35,000/- (Rs. 25,000/- + Rs. 10,000/- (Non-refundable administrative fee)) for General/EWS/OBC/OBC-NCL/PwD/KM/Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) categories.
Failure to deposit the SAF within the stipulated time will result in the cancellation of the offer. Furthermore, the candidate will not be considered in any subsequent rounds of seat allotment during admission 2025.
Once a candidate register in the allotted IISER, this amount will be adjusted against the candidate's first semester fee.
In case a candidate cancel the admission, a part of the SAF (please refer to the points above) will be refunded to the bank account (the details of which has to be entered in the Preference Form) OR through the same channel used to pay the SAF.
Instructions:
Kindly use Edge Chromium or Mozilla Firefox (version 97 to 114) or Google Chrome (version 91 to 114) or Microsoft Edge (version 91 to 114) browser to edit the Application Form.
The Application Form is compatible with Android (version 4.0 and above) and iOS (version 9 and above).
It is recommended to fill in the Application Form using Desktop/Laptop.
Fields marked with * in the Application Form are mandatory.
