Round 7 Offer Letter and Decision Making Form

- The candidates who have been offered in Round 7, must take an action, else they will not be considered for subsequent round(s) of counselling (if any).
- Candidates who received their first preference or for whom the admissions to higher preferred IISER(s)/Programme(s) is/are closed, will not be able to see the float option.
- The seventh round of counselling/admission offers closes on September 04, 2024 at 12:00 PM. So, you are strongly advised to do the needful before the deadline. No extensions will be given.

The candidates who did not get their higher preference due to closure of admission in these IISERs/Programs but are offered in an IISER/Program that is their lower preference will see the option "Accept and Freeze", and NOT the option "Accept and Float". Please check the IISER/Program being offered to you in the current allotment before you make a decision.

Extension of deadline for submission of IISER Preference Form & the Personal Details Edit Form

The deadline for submitting the IISER Preference Form and the Personal Details Edit Form (for uploading of 12th marksheet, 12th improvement marksheet and Caste/Category Certificate, if applicable) has been extended from July 04, 2024 (12 noon) upto July 06, 2024 (12 noon).
- Please note that NO MORE EXTENSIONS to the deadline shall be offered.
- Please read the instructions very carefully before filling up the form. Please note that you need not pay any fees for filling up this IISER Preference Form.

b) Please upload your Class XII marksheet or Class XII improvement marksheet and Caste certificate (in the Applicant Details section) if applicable and if you have not uploaded the same while filling up the Application Form.
Note-2:
a) All candidates with a score of 1 and above are awarded with an Overall Rank. Obtaining a rank does not ensure admission to IISERs. Only those candidates who submit the IISER Preference Form will be considered for admission to IISERs.
b) Category rank, if applicable and as reflected on the scorecard, is provisional subject to the verification of documents.

Candidates who are Foreign Nationals
19 April 2024
Candidates who are not citizens of India AND do not hold OCI/PIO cards shall be considered as foreign nationals. Such candidates are eligible to appear for IAT-2024. The applicant need to upload an equivalence certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities unless they have passed the Class XII or equivalent level examination in 2022 or 2023 or 2024 from any board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education in India COBSE. The equivalence certificate must be uploaded while submitting the IAT-2024 Application Form under the "Please upload copy of document supporting your claim of Foreign National (You'll need to produce original when necessary)".
Candidates belonging to Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants)

Candidates belonging to Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) may apply for the IAT-2024 as Kashmiri Migrants subject to the fullfillment of other eligibility criteria. These candidates must upload a valid domicile certificate at the time of application in place of "Kashmiri Migrant Certificate".
